Hennessey Venom F5
The Hennessey Venom F-Series engines were designed specifically for use in American professional racing competition with a USD of 3 million (approx. Rs 24 crore). The Hennessey Venom F5 is a sports car developed and manufactured by the American vehicle manufacturing company Hennessey special vehicles which was established in 2017.These engines have been used in NASCAR since 2002 and have won over 100 races including the Daytona 500. The Venom F-Series engine was developed to meet the demands of high horsepower race cars. The Venom F-5 engine is built using a forged steel crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, and cylinder heads. All components are precision machined and then assembled together using a combination of brazing and welding techniques. The result is a high-performance engine that delivers superior power and reliability.
SPECIFICATIONS
6.6litre fury twin turbocharged v8 engine with 7 speed CIMA single clutch automated manual transmission and power output as 1817hp (1842PS;1355kw) and 1193lbft (1617N.M).
Curb weight as 3053lb and the engine is to have an 8.0 liters capacity but later at the final displacement of the engine it was at 6.6 liters.
The top speed is claimed to be 301 mph(484km/h) through V-MAX speed tracking system. Hennessey predicts the car will be accelerate from 0-186 mph (0-300 km/h) in under 10 seconds and from 0-249 mph (0-400 km/h) in a time about 20 seconds.
Hence the engine displacement 7400cc.
The chassis and body will be almost made of carbon fiber.
CONCLUSION
The f5 name is reference to the f5 tornado, the highest rating on the Fujita scale, attaining speeds as high as 261-318 mph(420-512km/h). as they attain to reach the max speed of 300mph(485km/h) Hennessey venom F5 gets the title of world's fastest car.
Only 30 F5 venom roadsters will be built, it is expected delivery to be in 2023.
